Why is Tesla Motors’ Model S the most expensive electric car ever?

The most expensive car ever sold was the Toyota Prius, which sold in 2001 for $5,095, according to an article from the automotive website Automotive News.

This was the most affordable electric car on record for a new car at the time.

In 2018, the Ford Focus EV sold for $7,299.

It’s been estimated that Tesla Motors may have sold over 7.7 million electric vehicles in 2017.

A Tesla Motors spokesperson told the Verge that the company only sells cars that have a price point that is “not over $50,000.”

The automaker has yet to disclose the exact number of EVs it sold in 2017, but it’s believed that around 200,000 were sold.

The company’s CEO, Elon Musk, has said that the “one trillionth” of electric cars on the market will be sold in 2021.
